Stephen Bushee is a 1981 graduate
of Colgate University who worked for four years as a student athletic trainer
with the Sports Medicine Program. His love for Athletic Training was
immediately evident as he worked enthusiastically in all aspects of the
program. Whether it was football, wrestling, field hockey, women's
lacrosse, or clinic duty, Steve put 110% effort into the care of the
student-athletes who were his charge. He is the student athletic trainer by whom all other athletic trainers are measured. His love for the profession of Athletic Training and the unfailing desire to take care of the student-athlete are traits that inspire all athletic trainers. Steve is currently the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine at Boston College. The award is given to the senior student assistant who demonstrates exceptional dedication and abilities over the course of their entire college career. |
