His love for the profession of Athletic Training and the unfailing desire to take care of the student-athlete are traits that inspire all athletic trainers. Steve is currently the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine at Boston College. The award is given to the senior student assistant who demonstrates exceptional dedication and abilities over the course of their entire college career. |

For only
the second time since its inception in 2001, we have awarded the Stephen Bushee
Award. We were pleased to give this award in the spring of 2008 to Nikki
Newhouse '08. Nikki anchored the football student assistant staff for
three years and demonstrated exceptional skills. She became someone
the full time staff could rely on throughout her career.
