FINAL GRADES
Final grades for the Spring 2005 are due from faculty on Monday, May 16.  (Grades for graduating seniors are due Monday, May 9.)
The Office of the Registrar anticipates mailing grades reports by Monday, May 23.  Grade reports are mailed to a student's permanent home address of record, unless the Registrar's Office was notified of an alternate address.

Final grades also may be accessed via Banner Web for Student  , which may be accessed via the Colgate University Web Portal.  After logging into the Portal, select the Banner tab or click on the Banner Web/web registration Quicklink list.   At the log-in prompt, re-enter your network password to access Banner Web.  This will bring you to the “Student Services & Financial Aid” menu.  Select "Student Records," then "Final Grades."

Study group grades frequently are received after grade reports are mailed.  These and other late grades may be accessed via Banner Web for Student as soon as they are posted.

Students with an accounts receivable hold will not receive a printed grade report.  Moreover, they will be able to access their grades via Web for Student only after their accounts have been cleared by the Office of Student Accounts.   Please contact Student Accounts at 315-228-7812 or 315-228-7421.

VERIFICATION OF ENROLLMENT
The Registrar's Office can provide verification of your enrollment at Colgate.   Students (or parents) normally request us to write a letter or give us a form to fill out.  The standard enrollment verification letter indicates the student's enrollment status (e.g., full-time) for a given term or academic year, the number of courses and semester hours for which s/he is registered, and anticipated date of graduation.

Verification requests including confidential academic information (e.g., GPA, rank in class) must be made in writing, because we need your signature to release your records.

You may fax your request to 315-228-7125 or call us at 315-228-7676.  Requests usually take 3-5 business days and are completed in the order in which they are received.  Please note, however, that during very busy times of the year (especially at the beginning of the academic term) it may take us at least a week to complete a verification request.

ADDRESS CHANGES
Moved? Please tell us! Our office is the repository for address and phone numbers of current students and their parents. (Alumni should contact the Alumni Office.)  If you or your parents have moved recently, you should notify the Registrar's Office in person, by phone, or by email.  Please note that we won't automatically change your parent(s)' address just because you change your own permanent address; life has become too complicated for us to make assumptions. So forgive us if it seems like we're asking the obvious--we just want to be sure your family members get appropriate mailings at the right addresses.

ORDERING A REPLACEMENT DIPLOMA
In order to receive a diploma replacement, we will need your request in writing with the following information:

Send request directly to the Office of the Registrar, Colgate University, 13 Oak Drive, Hamilton, NY 13346.  If you have questions, please contact our Transcript Secretary at 315-228-7408, Monday through Friday, 8:00am-12:00pm or 1:00-3:30pm.

This service generally takes 5 to 7 weeks to process.
