Modern Philosophy through Kant.
AOC: Open. The successful candidate will also teach in Colgate’s

The
Departments of Biology and Mathematics of Colgate University
seek a tenure-stream Assistant Professor for a joint position in
Biology and Mathematics to
start August 2010. PhD or expectation of completion this
academic year required; teaching and postdoctoral research
experience desirable. The successful candidate will
develop a Systems Biology course for biology and mathematics
students and contribute to existing or new courses in biology or
mathematics, depending upon expertise. The successful candidate
will also be expected to participate in university-wide
programs, including the Liberal Arts Core Curriculum. We are

including involving undergraduates in research. The appointee
will add to this effort by mentoring undergraduate research

The
Department of Chemistry, at Colgate University, seeks an
analytical chemist to fill a
tenure track Assistant Professor position beginning in Fall
2010. Duties include teaching instrumental methods, general
chemistry, and associated laboratories, as well as directing an
active undergraduate research program. Candidates with
interdisciplinary scholarly interest are encouraged to apply.
