Reporting on the use of grant funds is an essential part of the funding process. Timely reports are important to the individual grant recipient and to Colgate's continuing relationship with the foundation or agency.

• The Grants Office and the Office of Accounting and Control will monitor grant expenditures and filing of required reports to the funding agency.

• Copies of correspondence related to the grant should be forwarded to the Grants Office for its files.

• Requests for budget revisions must be submitted to the Grants Office and be approved by the Treasurer.

• National Science Foundation annual and final reports must be submitted via FastLane. Requests for extensions of NSF grants must be approved by the Associate Provost and submitted via FastLane. To obtain a FastLane password, call or e-mail Helen Kebabian, ext. 7451.
