Every year, the brothers of Sigma Chi hold a scholarship dinner inwhich many of Colgate's esteemed faculty are invited and attend. The library in the chapter house has recently undergone renovations in order to offer a better study space for the brothers. There are several awards given out each year by the brotherhood including an award for the highest GPA each semester and a Spring Semester award for the most improved GPA. Sigma Chi is also thinking of instituting study halls next semester for brothers who do not receive a certain GPA and midterm reports are a possibility for brothers who are struggling academically. Also in the works is a list of brothers who have taken certain classes so that others taking those same classes may go to them for help.
