"Doing Well by Doing Good"
lunch series

Doing Well By Doing Good is a lunch seminar series jointly sponsored with Career Services.  Each week, we bring together interested students, faculty, and outside guests to talk about careers in the non-profit sector. The goal of the series is to provide students with information about the range of available careers in the non-profit sector, while also providing them with advice and networks to facilitate a successful job search.

Some of last semester's speakers:
-Jennie Shea '91:  Program Manager of Share our Strength
 - Milton J Bloch:  President of the Munson-Williams-Proctor arts Institute
 - Peggy Ogden:  Executive Director of the Central New York Community Foundation
 - Sarah Tribe '01:  Program Manager of Work Inc. (a group home for physically disabled adults)
 - Kip Hargrave:  Coordinator of Refugee Services through Catholic Charities
 - Scott Annan '03:  Talked about the internship experience that he had with a non-profit                                                                                  - Peter Kavanaugh:  Chairman of the Human Rights Commission of Syracuse/Onondaga County

please RSVP to Melissa Saulsgiver by the Wednesday before the lunch you plan on attending ("msaulsgiver" or ext. 6880)
