Careers & Internships
A large number of students are interested in not-for-profit work, education, and human services.  The COVE has paired up with career services to offer "Doing Well By Doing Good" a career exploration luncheon series that focuses on life in the non-profit world.  Whether they come for the soup or the advice, the COVE lounge is always packed on Thursdays for this exciting event.

For those who want a more hands on experience, the COVE offers paid summer internships through the Utica Field School.  Students have interned in a variety of nearby agencies from the Boys & Girls Club of Utica, to Sculpture Space, to Mohawk Valley Center for Refugees.  The group meets weekly to discuss their work, experiences and how Colgate can continue to contribute to community building efforts in Utica.

Thanks to the generous support of alumnus, we offer similar experiences in Boston.

How can I be a part of it?

Reach Out . . .  Learn . . . Plan for the Future . . . Be a Part of the Process
