What I'll be doing: |
Starting in September '07 I will be volunteering abroad for 6 months. My first 3 months will be in or around Kathmandu, Nepal; in late November/early December I'll move to Accra, Ghana. In both countries I will be working in an understaffed, underfunded hospital or clinic helping the medical team provide medical care to the poor. When I get back to the States in March '08 I plan to start the medical school application process. |
