Safety Advisory Committee

Purpose

The purpose of the Safety Advisory Committee is to assist in reviewing University policies, procedures, and physical plant issues relating to the safety of University employees, students, and the general public. The Committee makes recommendations concerning changes in the physical plant to the Vice President for Administrative Services. In addition, the Committee makes recommendations concerning policies and procedures related to safety to the Dean of the Faculty and Provost.

The Committee is principally charged with promoting safety on the Colgate campus and fostering an environment in which the risk of accidental injury to individuals is minimal.
