Asbestos Containing Material (ACM) will be identified by warning labels or signs like this:

If an employee suspects that he/she may be working in an area that may have asbestos containing material the following steps should be taken by the employee:

1. Custodians and other B&G personnel should share concerns with your supervisor, and then refer to the building and/or project reference books in the B&G Conference Room, CAD drawings, and test reports with Peter Babich can help you with. Other employees should call B&G to report their concerns.

2. If we don't have material test reports showing that the specific material in not ACM then B&G will have a contractor examine the material and test it if appropriate.
