The purpose of our Laboratory Safety Survey (LSS) Program is to physically survey each laboratory in the Natural Sciences Division to ensure compliance with our Chemical Hygiene Plan and to assess the overall safety level and conditions in the laboratory. LSSs are conducted in each laboratory every third year. The current schedule is as follows: Wynn Hall-1996, Olin Hall-1997, Lathrop Hall-1998; Wynn Hall-1999, Olin Hall-2000, Lathrop Hall-2001. Laboratory Supervisors and Department Chemical Hygiene Officers should be conducting periodic informal inspections and assessments.
