Job Fairs

Idealist Nonprofit Career Fairs - these fairs have attracted over 1,500 organizations and 15,000 job seekers in 32 cities across the U.S.


Manzi Fellowship

The Manzi Fellowship was established in 1995 by Jim  Manzi '73 to provide a paid fellowship to selected Colgate students.  Manzi Fellows agree to perform summer-long community service in the greater Boston area, in association with a Colgate recognized and sanctioned project or agency. The fellowship provides each student a summer stipend of $4,200.

Scholarships and Fellowships

Carnegie Endowment for International Peace - for graduating seniors or those who have graduated in the past academic year who have a serious career interest in the area of international affairs.

Harry S. Truman Scholarships - awarded on the basis of merit to junior level students who have extensive record of public and community service and are committed to careers in government or elsewhere in the public sector.

Udall Scholarship Foundation - for college sophomores or juniors who intend to pursue careers in environmental policy; or Native American and Alaskan Native students who intend to pursue careers in health care or tribal public policy.

California Executive Fellowship Program - a graduate education, public service and leadership development program designed to extend knowledge of California government, prepare for public careers, and promote civic education.

Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Public Policy Fellowships - offers up to 21 promising Latinos from across the country the opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the national level in the public policy area of their choice

Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Scholarships - for Latino students who have a history of performing public service-oriented activities in their communities and who plan to continue contributing in the future.

Samuel Huntington Public Service Award - for graduating seniors to pursue public service anywhere in the world. 

James Madison Graduate Fellowships - toward Master's degree for future secondary school teachers of American history, American government, and social studies.

Herbert Scoville, Jr. Peace Fellowships - provides college graduates who have an interest in arms control and security issues the opportunity to work with an arms control organization in Washington, DC.
