Colgate University is a highly selective, residential
liberal arts college with approximately 2,800 students in rural Upstate New
York. We have an outstanding faculty that offers general education,
concentrations in 45 different fields, first year seminars and electives.
Colgate provides many opportunities to pursue interdisciplinary independent
study. The University sponsors more than 20 off-campus study programs at both
foreign and domestic sites. Our strong academic program is complemented by an
ambitious Division I athletic program and nearly 100 campus organizations
involved in a wide variety of
activities from club sports to literary journals. Our liberal arts curriculum
provides an excellent foundation for the work-place and has produced many
business leaders.
