The Colgate Connection, coordinated
by the Center for Career Services, is a group of approximately 3000
parent and alumni volunteers who offer students and alumni opportunities
for exploring career options and making professional contacts.
Any support, whether tangible job or internship
leads, career information, insightful strategies, or words of
encouragement and support, can be of tremendous help to students.
The following are specific ways we encourage you to participate
in this career network:
Career Advising
(offering career-related information to individual students and/or
alumni)
Campus Presentations
(meeting with students when at Colgate)
Job Referral/Recruiting Assistance (helping Career Services identify employment opportunities)
Career Seminars
(participating in networking programs in various metropolitan
areas)
A Day In The Life
(sponsoring a student for a one-day shadowing opportunity in
January)
Summer Positions
(serving as a contact person with your organization regarding
summer opportunities)
